It is an honour to have designed and maintain this site for Jessica Phoenix. She is one of Canada’s leading equestrians, 2 time Olympian and Pan-American Games individual gold medalist… well, go to her site and read all about it! 

I have maintained Jessica’s promotional/sponsorship site since its inception in 2006, as a friendly initiative, and I have updated it 3 times since. The first site was built on Macromedia/Adobe ColdFusion, the second was a small custom php CMS, the third used Drupal, and presently it is WordPress’ turn. The reason for changing from Drupal to WordPress was to accommodate random content growth in a builder environment as the nature of the site started to expand into other area… cross promotions with sponsors, book promotions, gear and so on; not to mention the ease in which social plugins and other blogging basics could be implemented.

Promotions and blog posts can be arranged on the fly and Jessica can manage her sale horses with the CMS.
